Foundation patronized its project for thirteenth leukemia patients
In early 2020, the Guus Hiddink Foundation agreed to sponsor the “Health Blind Zone Support Project” along with the Catholic Medical Center Korea.
When Guus Hiddink Foundation was first established, we believed that support for children with cancer and corneal transplant patients among marginalized groups with relatively poor as one of our guite meaningful missions.
We have now since expanded our vision to include adult patients as well. To this end, the Foundation has launched a project to support the treatment of child leukemia patients, especially to those unfortunate enough to slip through the national healthcare system.
Lee 00, who was suffering from adult leukemia, was selected as the Nineteenth candidate for the Foundation's project.
We are now pleased to announce that Lee 00 has made a swift recovery and has returned to her family. We hope for her speedy return to society as well.
In the future, the Foundation will continue to support patients with leukemia in cooperation with hospitals affiliated with the Catholic Medical Center.
