Guus Hiddink Fulfills Pledge to Help the Disabled

Dutch football manager Guus Hiddink will take on the role of an honorary president of the organizing committee for the International Blind Sports Federation World Games which will begin in Seoul this weekend.

The eight-day sporting event will bring some 6,000 visual impaired athletes from 65 countries.

The football manager has been helping the disabled and other disadvantaged people through his charity foundation.

Hiddink, who pledged to build futsal fields for the visually impaired in 10 cities which host the World Cup, opened the 12th field in Seoul last year. The 13th will open in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province on Friday.
