Foundation patronizing the visually impaired to learn and play soccer in 'Life Soccer Class'

In early 2020, Guus Hiddink Foundation agreed to sponsor the “Life Soccer Class” alongside the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Nowon Blind Welfare Center, which helps 20 visually impaired people to learn and play soccer.

When the Guus Hiddink Foundation was first established, supporting the visually impaired was always a top priority.

To this end, the Foundation has launched a project to support and provide hope to the visually impaired who do not enjoy opportunities for sports activities.

Though the program was temporarily suspended due to the unexpected outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Life Soccer Class” has now been resumed. The Foundation made souvenir tumblers to commemorate this moment.

The Foundation will continue to support the visually impaired in sports so that everybody, no matter their circumstances, can continue to enjoy the beautiful sport that is soccer.
