On July 11, 2007, the Guus Hiddink Foundation held a completion ceremony for the Hiddink Dream Field, a soccer field for visually impaired children. During the ceremony, Mr. Hiddink held a soccer match and gave out gifts to the children of Sung Shim House for Visually Impaired Children. The children performed traditional Korean music as a mark of appreciation for Mr. Hiddink’s efforts.

Former national football team manager Guus Hiddink on Tuesday met with a group of blind children during a visit to his old stomping ground. They gripped the coach’s hands tightly as he told them how nice it was to meet them. The former manager and a pizza franchise provided pizza for the children at the meeting.
