4th Beneficiary of “Health Blind Zone Support Project”

In early 2020, the Guus Hiddink Foundation agreed to sponsor the “Health Blind Zone Support Project” along with the Catholic Medical Center Korea.

When the Guus Hiddink Foundation was first established, we believed that support for children with cancer among marginalized groups was relatively poor.

We have now since expanded our vision to include adult patients as well. To this end, the Foundation has launched a project to support the treatment of adult leukemia patients, especially to those unfortunate enough to slip through the national healthcare system.

Shin 00, who was suffering from adult leukemia, was selected as the fourth candidate for the Foundation's project.

We were pleased to see Shin 00 has made a swift recovery however, facing his second anti-cancer medication, his condtion suddenly deteriorated and passed away on July 4. May he rest in peace.

In the future, the Foundation will continue to support patients with leukemia  in cooperation with hospitals affiliated with the Catholic Medical Center.

Through our efforts, we hope to not only help the needy but inspire others to do the same.
